The Board, at the May 2021 Board Meeting, voted to extend the waiver of late fees for Licensee renewals. LATE FEE RESUMES - EFFECTIVE JULY 1, 2022 This extension will continue Until MARCH 31, 2023. To assist our Licensees with transitioning to a post COVID19 environment, the Board, at the May 2021 Board Meeting, the Board voted to keep the continuing education requirements for renewal of licensure at the statutorily required 12 hours. Those 12 hours may be either contact or non-contact hours. NEW LICENSE DELIVERY PROCESS EFFECTIVE SEPTEMBER 1, 2021 If any LMT performs massage in a facility that falls under the definition of a Healthcare facility then the rule applies to them, at that time. That said, this is completely dependent upon the type of practice an LMT conducts, either full or part-time. The vast majority of massage facilities, spas, and private practices are not likely to fall under the requirement. ****PLEASE NOTE: The mandated vaccine order currently applies to all LMTs WHO perform their practice in a healthcare facility as defined in the order. ***NOTICE*** VACCINATION REQUIREMENT FOR HEALTH CARE FACILITES
